Scaring Off Cancer
Due to an unexpected and devastating loss experienced by one of our family members, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s RNCG Angel Foundation Scaring Off Cancer Event- Under the Harvest Moon. We regret the late notice and apologize for any inconvenience this causes our valued sponsors and supportive patrons. We do plan to reschedule the event at a later date, in the meantime, ticket purchases will be refunded via the method of purchase, within ten business days.
Our mission at the RNCG Angel Foundation remains the same; to partner with cancer patients, families, clinicians, and the community to provide essential guidance, services, and education. We will continue our mission, and look forward to coming back even stronger.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding,

Cancer Care Fundraiser “Under the Harvest Moon”
at The Don Cesar, St. Pete Beach.
The RNCG Angel Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, postponed an enchanting evening “Under the Harvest Moon,” which was its theme for the annual “Scaring Off Cancer” fundraiser to support cancer patients and their families.
Florida’s medical elite, business leaders, cancer survivors, and community supporters will don their best costumes for this stellar night with cocktails, music, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, and desserts in the ballroom at The Don Cesar, 3400 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach. Donation and ticket information is available via the cancer foundation’s event page.
A live and silent auction will delight attendees with fabulous items. Donations from the growing list of generous sponsors include Moffitt Cancer Center, The Dali Museum, Great Explorations Children’s Museum, Tampa Theatre, Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center, Total Restoration Services Group, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, StarLite Cruises, Birch and Vine, and Julie Weintraub’s Hands Across the Bay to name a few. Sponsorship packages are available by calling 727-710-2511. The foundation is also currently accepting items for the silent auction.
“This annual fundraising ball is enjoyed by families and charitable professionals alike, as we join together to celebrate compassion and resources for one-on-one cancer care,” said Susan Scherer, vice president of The RNCG Angel Foundation, whose mission is to help cancer patients navigate through the medical, emotional, and financial barriers they encounter during a cancer journey.
Scherer is also the corporate founder and CEO of RN Cancer Guides Solutions TM, the first-ever, nurse-led company of Oncology Certified Nurses (OCN) working 24/7 to review claims, attend patient appointments, and make real-time improvements in care.
